Ameren Celebrates National Drive Electric Week

In celebration of National Drive Electric Week, Ameren is hosting a series of virtual and in-person electric vehicle (EV) events!

We’re bringing community members an opportunity to take an EV out for a spin, learn how easy it can be to incorporate EVs into your lifestyle, and chat with EV experts. This is the perfect time to ask your EV questions, explore Ameren’s rate programs and learn about the different levels of charging. Join us for the ultimate EV experience at these family-friendly events.

Events are free to participate in and open to the public. Registration is highly recommended | Valid U.S. Driver’s License Required to participate in the Ride & Drive.

Ameren EV Events at the 28th Annual Wings-N-Wheels Fly-In Car Show

Day 1: EV Ride & Drive and Experience Center

Want to take an electric vehicle (EV) out for a spin? Get behind the wheel and join Ameren for an EV experience!

Join us for our Ride & Drive Event on Saturday, September 28th. You’ll have the opportunity to test drive an EV, check out a variety of makes and models, and chat with EV experts! This is the perfect time to ask your EV questions, explore Ameren’s rate programs, and learn about the different levels of charging.

Drive or fly in for a day of free family fun at the 28th Annual Wings-N-Wheels Fly-In Car Show on September 28th! Attendees will have the opportunity to tour airplanes and cars, enjoy live music, and grab a bite from a variety of food trucks. Check out the special Kids Zone, which includes a bounce house, barrel car races, rides, and more!

The celebration continues on Sunday, September 29th, with the Kids Zone, farmers market, vendors, artisans, and free flights for children ages 8-17 on a personal aircraft!

Questions and answers about Ameren EV educational events

A valid U.S. driver’s license is required to drive any of the vehicles. Don’t have a valid driver’s license? You can sign up to be a rider where a vehicle representative will take you along the route.

An EV Ride & Drive allows event participants to test drive new models of electric vehicles. There is no cost to participate and registering in advance is highly recommended to reserve your test drive time slot.

Yes! These Ameren events are free to participate in.

Yes! Ameren is offering a live webinar called EV 101: A Brief Introduction to Electric Vehicles on September 18, 2024 from 12 P.M. to 1 P.M. and at 6 P.M. to 7 P.M.
